The DoDEA Student Information System (DSIS) Family Portal will be unavailable from Wednesday, June 25 at 2:00 pm ET until Thursday, July 10 at 2:00 pm ET. Parents and students will not be able to access the system or register students during this time. Registration will resume when the system is reopened on July 10.
Hello Ryukyu Middle School (RYMS) Community,
We are thrilled to start this new school year with you! It is an honor and privilege to serve our military community here on beautiful Okinawa, Japan! On behalf of the RYMS faculty and staff, welcome to the home of the HABU-rrific HABU! We are excited and looking forward to partnering with you to provide opportunities for a middle school educational experience that is positive, friendship-promoting, and academically fulfilling. Our teachers are eager to provide rigorous and relevant learning experiences that will provide excellence in education every day, everywhere, for every student.
Our theme for this school year is Vision-Focused. At Ryukyu Middle School, our mascot is the Habu. As HABU, we our four guiding principles help us stay Vision-Focused. We walk Honorably, Achieve greatness, Believe in our abilities, and Understand that we are stronger together!
