Welcome to Ryukyu MS
Ryukyu Middle School (RYMS) is located on Kadena Air Base on beautiful Okinawa, Japan. RYMS is comprised of approximately 377 middle-school students (grades 6-8) and over 40 professional staff representing a wide variety of cultures and backgrounds.
Tuesdays are Early Release days

Goal 1 - Literacy:
Ryukyu Middle School will improve written expression as a core component of content area literacy.
Goal 2 - Mathematics:
Ryukyu Middle School will improve Modeling and Reasoning as a core component of Standards of Mathematical Practice (SMP) to increase the percentage of students who meet or exceed grade level expectations.
